...jeg har vist glemt at fortælle, at filminstruktør Christian Juul, gammel ven af vores filmskole og produktionsleder Niels Dam tidligere filmelev fra Odder har slået pjalterne sammen i filmselvskabet, "Butterflies and Hurricanes", som bla. producerer for Danmarks Radio. I øjeblikket har de gang i "Inde i Frodes Hoved". Følg dem - evt. på facebook

...en filmskole er selvfølgelig smukkest i modvind, men vi er nu nok mange, som ønsker filmHenriks

40-årskrise hen, hvor... se billedet: Henrik belæsset med filmelev kæmper sig frem mod landet, hvor han tror, at pebberet gror.

Men OK da, Henrik vil afprøve undervisning på "uni.", job for "Filminstituttet", bogskrivning mm, og så vi er tolerante nok til at fritstille ham. ForstanderSøren og filmJeppe finder værdig og spændende afløser og filmjeppe benytter lejligheden til at tænke nye og store tanker for "Skole for film og tv-produktion".

good old filmstudents

... met talented Dennis - good old filmstudent from Odder - on facebook yesterday. He is working as a film-editor at a company in Aarhus...He asks if we're all right at "The School of Film and Tv-production"...and if we still nurse talented students and optimistic wannabees. Yes indeed!

...call from filmdirector Kasper Bisgaard ( educated from the famous Polish filmschool in Lodzs - at which, by the way, good old filmstudent from Odder, Lukazs is studying ).

Kasper lectures at our filmschool now and again and he wanted mee to promote his "Masterclass" in Århus: see below. I am certainly happy to do so, so much more because I'm coaching his photographers and good old filmstudent from Odder, Jens Niklason is just now presenting his graduating film from this "Masterclass"...and by the way - good old filmstudent from "Spring 09" in Odder, talented Esben Kristensen considers to join this autum.

POTEMKIN FILM starter nye hold d.18.august 2009

POTEMKIN FILM består af to målrettede filmforløb (Grundhold & Masterclass), der strækker sig over 20 ugers undervisning (d.18.August - 15.Januar 2010).

Skolen har eksisteret i mere end 10 år og hjulpet elever videre til medierelaterede uddannelser, bla. til Den Danske Filmskole.

GRUNDHOLD
En bred indføring i film teori og produktion, herunder manuskript teori, instruktion, produktion, redigering, kamera, lyd, lys og musik.

MASTERCLASS
En overbygning til dig som ønsker en bro til Filmskolen og det professionelle filmmiljø.

wanted: baby-cowboys

...here we go again. We want new talented, burning, whizkid cowboys of all ages and genders to join us at our wellreputed "film set-up" in spring 09.

Graduating films

Time is up, ladies... Josefine films and acts in Krisztina's film about the lonely /"invisible" girl. Krisztina, pony-tail and headphones directs, while Katrine, controlling camera, has taken the tough job as chief of production, Daniel is behind the stillcam. and Katalin, blue dress, comes in handily/handsomely as runner.

We are now on the last lab of the Spring 09 filmclass at "The school of film and tv-production at Odder Hojschool. The student are fighting to finish their graduating films in time for the traditional "The Open House Ceremony". We want to show the world, that we now master the filmtools and the storytelling. Some of our film shall hopefully have a revivel at festivals all over the world. Jeppe.

på Odense Universitet på "medie" ved Syddansk Universitet, Niels V. Andersen E06 Kristine Hybschmann Dyssegaard F08. slår deres folder der og har det godt. Niels vandt ikke noget med sin "Bible Desperado", se tidligere klumme fra 06.02.09. Men Kristine vandt alles hjerter som kyssepige ligesom til cykelløb. Læs mere:

Bollywood film productions have generated a worldwide interest in contemporary Indian film. However, beyond the mainstream entertainment media lies a dynamic video art and independent film scene. RE:FRAME is a selection of seven films from this scene. Oscillating between documentary, video art, experimental film, and animation, this compilation explores the means with which memory is incorporated within postcolonial Indian society, both as individual journeys as well as national psyche. It shows contrasting points of view regarding the country's situation and its different unanswered questions.
