new filmgear

..how the ??? ( excuse my language ) is this supposed to turn?

It's a plessure to inform my followers ( inc. stalkers ) that Morten and i have decided that time is up for an updating of our gear. We fase out the tape-cameras and face in  HDSLR with rigs, follow-focus and matte-box, light sensitive lenses and filters and external soundrecorders for film-shoots and AVCCAM 151 for tv...or vice versa - it's up to the students of course.

The DSLR-solution certainly carries lots of new/old possibilities - back to filmlook/filmlanguage.

Also the sound- and the lighting-gear is given an overhaul, so we're once again very much in business, indeed.

new filmgear

...friday I ordered two new cameras and some extra soundgear for our film and tv-school. The cameras are Panasonic AG-HMC151EJU so now we started on the SD-era, slowly out-facing the tapes...we are allready working on DSLR - Canon with very lightsensitive nikor-lenses - as You'll know,

Jeppe with another piece of gear...a Red camera, bit to complicated for school-use.

....but with so many students, we'll have to work with our good old tape-cameras as well for some time....and that's OK for schooluse - when You are able to handle the old professional tape-dinos, You can handle anything.

missing filmgear

...good and bad news: the two disappeared microphones are back in teh sable, thank Who?! But the filmschool are still missing the good old Sony-handycam which is a pain in the arse. Please, everybody,

This is one of the Canons, all right - with a new sort of shade. The missing camera is the Sony handycam!!

 old and new students, think hard, who might have misled or borrowed the camera? We have been in all corners of the school - or tried to, rather - there's a lot of them You know...HELP, filmJeppe.

...dear "old" filmstudents.

I have got a giant problem ! Since Your lot left our school its has been impossible to find, amongst, others Our good old Sony-cam and two of Our good michrophones: the "Sennheiser" and the "Røde"...we can't afford to by new gear in this scale, so the 20 new filmstudens are really jammed Any of You remember who used this gear just before You left? Or remember if  anybody borrowed it for som private shooting? Or suddenly remenber that You Yourself mislaid the equipment and where: "Moonlight", the attic above the school, in the back of Your private car, in the "Bear-grotto" in the wood? In one of the loundry-mashines or just deep down one of the wc-bowls?
